Lauren Ott began her life in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, Lauren was a very creative spirit with a passion for activity and the outdoors. Lauren began her athletic career like most do, playing little league ball. The spark for the game grew into a passion as she continued her athletic career in club ball and eventually earned as a freshman a starting position on her high school varsity softball team in Mundelein, IL. Landing the spot as a consistent starting pitcher throughout her high school career, she made the records books and local newspapers for her dominant performance on the mound. Her high school class also noticed her hard work and dedication and voted Lauren the superlative of "Most Athletic" her Senior Year. Lauren made it a point to not only become a threat on the mound but to hone other skills behind the plate, in the infield and outfield, and as a switch hitter.

As a Jack of all Trades, she earned a Full Athletic and Academic scholarship to play Division 1 Softball at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she studied Education and Psychology. Lauren was nominated as Captain of her team during her last two years of playing.

She managed to play at almost every position during her college career, including pitching and catching, finishing off her senior year as a starting 3rd baseman. After college, Lauren worked many jobs in service to the community, such as her non-profit work at the Wyoming State Food Bank, her work in Law Enforcement, and Coaching. Lauren is passionate about making an impact with local youths and wants to help young athletes grow into strong, confident, compassionate team players. Lauren always strives to bring creativity, humor, mindfulness, respect, and discipline into practice and games to create a safe and fun environment to grow and achieve great results.
